“As a child, the horse chestnut tree at Nana and Grandpa’s house provided hours of fun. Even after the house was sold and renovated, the tree stayed the same standing tall and reminding me of the time spent at that little yellow house on the hill. When we drove by and the tree was no longer there my heart dropped. Yet another sign that time keeps moving on whether we want it to or not. Months earlier my Nana had passed. Dave had just begun turning and we decided to stop and ask if we could have some of the fallen tree in the yard, the new owners obliged.
